Sacraments

- Holy Baptism

- Holy Sealing

- Holy Communion
In accordance with the teaching proclaimed by Jesus, the New Apostolic Church knows three sacraments.
Holy Baptism
The sacrament of Holy Baptism is the first and fundamental act of grace of our Triune God bestowed on a human being who believes in Christ. It includes the washing away of original sin. Holy Baptism is also dispensed to children; in this case, the parents profess their faith in Christ.
Holy Sealing
The sacrament of Holy Sealing is the administering of Holy Spirit. It comes about through prayer and laying on of hands of an Apostle on souls baptized with water. The Holy Baptism and the Holy Sealing conjointly constitute the rebirth out of water and Spirit; by this the childhood in God is attained.
Holy Communion
The sacrament of Holy Communion was instituted by Jesus Christ in commemoration of His suffering and death and of His once brought fully valid sacrifice. It imparts and preserves the fellowship with Jesus Christ and is celebrated after the forgiveness of sins.
